Rachel's Challenge

Acknowledge Kindness! (posted 09/17/10)
The Chain Link Club & VMMS have started the Chain of Kindness Project. Students & adults may acknowledge acts of kindness performed by asking a teacher for a “link”, writing the name of the person & act they performed on the link, then connecting it to a Chain of Kindness! Don’t forget to create a “link” for yourself when you go out of your way to be kind!

Rachel's Challenge Chain Links Club Sign-ups (posted 09/03/10)
The Chain Links Club mission statement is to fulfill Rachel Scott’s goal to start a chain reaction of kindness in the school. Students who would like to be a part of the RC Chain Links Club must first get permission from a parent (blue permission forms available). We will now be meeting on Tuesdays during lunch time in the Family Consumer Science room. Anyone can join! Contact tclarke@mcsdga.net for more information.

How Can I be A Chain Links Adult Sponsor? (posted 09/03/10)
We are not asking for money, but we do need adult sponsors for each club. We are creating a backlog of sponsors, because the Chain Links Club will continue to grow & split into a number of clubs. Each new club requires 1 adult sponsor. The sponsors volunteer their time to host some of the weekly meetings, go on “kindness” missions, or simply help out at some of the Big Events the students will be putting on. Our meetings will be during lunch on Tuesdays in the Family Consumer Science room. We hope to see you there!Contact tclarke@mcsdga.net for more information.
