Congratulations to Mrs. Jones' homeroom for bringing in the most items for the homeless veterans supply drive. Her homeroom will be rewarded with an icecream party. Thank you to all that contributed.
Veterans Memorial was one of four schools in Muscogee County to be recognized by the Governor's Office of Student Achievement (GOSA). VMMS won the Gold award for greatest gains. To qualify for the award, a school has to make AYP two years in a row, have over 30% of the students exceed standards, and be ranked in the 97th percentile for greatest gains.
